Welcome to Learn to Drive Canada (“LTD Canada”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, applications, and platform, whether as a learner, instructor, or visitor. By using LTD Canada, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.


1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to the Learn to Drive Canada website and any associated mobile or web applications.
  • “User” refers to any individual accessing the platform, including learners, instructors, or visitors.
  • “Instructor” refers to a certified driving instructor offering lessons via the LTD Canada platform.
  • “Learner” refers to an individual who books or receives driving instruction through LTD Canada.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum driving age in your province).
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration and contact information.

Instructors must additionally meet licensing, background, and insurance requirements outlined in our Instructor Policies.


3. Use of the Platform

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation or security.
  • Misrepresent their identity, qualifications, or intent when using the platform.
  • Circumvent the booking and payment systems to arrange off-platform lessons or payments.

LTD Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


4. Account Registration & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to deny registration or cancel accounts at our sole discretion.

5. Lesson Bookings

  • All lesson bookings must be made through the LTD Canada platform.
  • Learners can view instructor availability and rates before booking.
  • Instructors are responsible for honouring confirmed bookings unless rescheduled in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • Payments are processed securely through LTD Canada’s integrated payment gateway.
  • Refunds are issued in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
  • Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited and may lead to account suspension.

7. Cancellations

  • Learners must cancel or reschedule lessons at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Instructors must also provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes to scheduled lessons.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to fees or limited platform use.

8. Instructor Verification

Instructors must:

  • Hold a valid provincial or territorial driving instructor licence.
  • Submit and maintain updated documentation for background checks, vehicle safety, insurance, and credentials.
  • Adhere to LTD Canada’s Instructor Policies at all times.

9. User Conduct

All users agree to:

  • Treat others with professionalism and respect.
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
  • Follow all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate behavior and communication both online and during in-person lessons.

10. Privacy

By using the platform, you consent to our data practices.


11. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, software, and branding, is the property of LTD Canada or its licensors.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without written permission.

12. Disclaimers

  • LTD Canada is a booking platform, not a driving school. We do not employ instructors directly.
  • We do not guarantee the outcome of any driving lessons or test results.
  • Users accept full responsibility for their participation in lessons and compliance with local laws.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LTD Canada is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our platform, including but not limited to lost time, income, or data.
  • We are not responsible for the actions, conduct, or qualifications of any instructor or learner.

14. Termination

LTD Canada reserves the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend your access for violating these Terms or applicable laws.
  • Remove any content that violates our standards or policies.

You may cancel your account at any time through your user dashboard.


15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.


16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-platform notifications.
