What LearnToDrive Canada is

LearnToDrive Canada is a marketplace that connects learners with independent driving instructors. We are not a driving school ourselves, and instructors are independent professionals, not our employees. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment; the lesson itself is delivered by the instructor under their own professional judgment and applicable provincial regulations.

Booking and payment

When you book a lesson, payment is collected online at the time of booking. Your instructor is notified once payment is confirmed. Platform fees are deducted from the lesson price before payout to your instructor; you are charged the full listed price.

Cancellations and refunds

If your instructor declines a booking after payment, you are entitled to a full refund, processed back to your original payment method. For cancellations you initiate, contact us as early as possible — refund eligibility depends on how close to the lesson time you cancel.

Instructor standards

Instructors listed on the platform are expected to hold a valid provincial driving instructor licence and appropriate insurance. We review instructor applications before they go live, but you should feel free to ask any instructor for proof of licensing before your first lesson.

Limitation of liability

LearnToDrive Canada facilitates bookings between learners and independent instructors. We are not liable for the conduct of instructors or students, or for incidents that occur during a lesson, beyond what is required by applicable law.
